My dad drew this from a photo he had taken of me standing in front of the Midway Depot. We lived on Main Street and it was a short walk to the depot from our apartment. The coal man was located behind the depot and my that is where we purchased coal for pot bellied stove that heated our apartment in the winter. On a side note, my dad and I would walk the tracks and look for pieces of coal that fell from the tinder car. It was a big adventure for me, searching for treasure.
