This is Lake Allatoona in Georgia in 2007 during the drought. This was taken in late August, before the September rain storm that flooded Atlanta that year. Lake Allatoona had dropped so much that the original stream beds could be seen as well as parts of roads that got flooded to make this lake.
I am standing in a spot that is normally covered by 12 to 15 feet of water.
