I digitally altered my latest colored pencil drawing to create this beauty.
I learned the basics of drawing from my father and I taught myself to work in many mediums before finding my “niche” which are colored pencils. I try to always use my own photos or use historic photos of the surrounding Kentucky towns and farms. I consider history an important part of our future as it presents another view of the past. I like to research my subjects and present them with some background as to where and when. I draw landscapes, cityscapes, cars, trucks, vans, flowers and even the occasional person. I have a wide variety of subjects for your viewing pleasure. I am a juried member of the Kentucky Crafted program and Colored Pencil Society of America.
