Description
The original of this work "Melting World" can be viewed in my Acrylic Painting Collection. I reworked the painting to include more action in the image itself. At the time the original painting was done (late 80's) this digital painting style was not available to the general public. What I had envisioned for some of my work never came to pass because of lack of knowledge and technical expertise on my part at the time.
So here is the second version, digitally altered to a more dramatic effect. A world liquifying somewhere in the galaxy. Gases escaping, lava flowing freely out into space, water vaporizing, all combining to create a visual experience for the viewer.
