I found this old caboose parked on a abandoned siding in rural Central Kentucky. Waiting to get refurbished by a local rail museum. The stories this car could tell, the towns and cities it has rolled through, the back country it has seen: the imagination could go crazy at the possibilities.
We are all this caboose at one time or another in our lives. The thing is, what do you do about it? Loneliness, old age, poor health, poverty; all of these can become debilitating to us and seem to dictate our choices for the future. But that is not true. Find the beauty in the world around you.

I would work 8-10 hours daily on engraving a contour map with a hand held, .002 line engraver for up to 200 hours, depending on the terrain being mapped.
