Description
My dad was a medic during WWII and he was often right in the mist of the fighting. He spent his spare time drawing what he had witnessed during this time. These are a reminder of what war is all about. This art is now a part of the Air Force Art Collection that was started in 1950. These pieces of art are constantly displayed at military bases throughout this country and around the world.
These are the prints that the Army Art Collection gave my mother when we had the opportunity to view the originals when the collection rotated through Washington, DC. No one in the family had viewed them, since he donated them at the time of his discharge after the war.

David, (my dad was also a medic in WWII and the Korean Conflict- this is so heArtfelt.). What an amazing legacy your father left our Country, his family and the world...to Never Forget the sacrifices, the consequences for mankind. I hear your pride in your dad and feel the joy in his gaze returned to his son’s amazing talents...and tribute to him. So well done. I visited his memorial collection in your portfolio- Beautiful! LF
