This neon sign still stands in Lexington, Ky on New Circle Road. It has been there since the 1950's. This drive-in still operates today and is a wonderful nostalgic place to grab a sandwich. They still have curb service. If you every pass through Lexington, this should be a place on your to-do list. Grant you, almost everything is fried, but still, those of us who can remember cruising around places like this in our teen years, can appreciate the trip down memory lane.
Warm and hot colors make this art a wonderful selection for your home or office decor. This work is done as a colored pencil drawing, but the sky was painted in in inks, and the the clouds where done with neon pinks and yellows colored pencil.
