Description
Winning art of Signs and Logo, Fine Art America. 2014
A small building that was located in Canton, Georgia, it has been demolished and now a parking lot adorns this space. This building was built sometime during the 1920's. It had a wood floor laid over packed dirt. The sweet older couple that owned this business where always ready with a smile. He repaired the machines, she did sewing work. This is one of several works of art I did of downtown Canton. The colored pencil gives a warm feeling to this image. I used shades of red, orange and contrasted them with cool blues. This image has a photo realistic feel to it. My style of work is becoming more recognized by my style of drawing and my subjects.
From the dilapidated siding to the brick facade, this art is charming. Modeled after a photo I took around 6PM on summer day, this shows strong sunlight and deep shadows of a summer evening. This art goes well with urban homes, contemporary and modern homes. The rural feel in small towns are what make them so charming. This would be lovely for a cabin or vacation home. A-1 Sewing is a reminder of our past. A record of something that is gone forever. Prints of this art would work well for home and office. Great work for doctor office or dentist office. This would be a wonderful piece of art for a real estate firm or any professional setting.
A-1 Sewing makes a unique greeting card or note card. Printed with a reduced image on a black background that FAA offers, would add a touch of flair to your correspondence.
Thanks
