Description
This is a combination of photos of the countryside where I was born in Kentucky. The images are in various places in Woodford County and Fayette County. The large amount of Limestone deposits in central Kentucky (Bluegrass area) has rolling hills that drop off dramatically to create these small canyon areas. The Kentucky River snakes through central Kentucky with many small towns and streams the flow into this river. In the 1950's and 60's, you could follow these stream beds toward the origin point and discover many old foundations of homes, bridges and barns, a part of the Kentucky heritage.
This art would work well for an urban dwelling as well as for rural homes. Hidden Canyon would be great for your cabin or vacation home. The warm colors, the feeling of tranquility would add to the walls of either contemporary or modern style homes and furniture. This art is perfect for home or office. Mat this work in bright colors, dramatic colors or just black and white, all with a simple frame. I urge you to play with the image feature at the top of the page, just click on the type of print you want and follow the instructions to see this with different mats, frames and colors that can match your decor.
As a greeting card, Hidden Canyon would be stunning with the black background offered here at Fine Art America. You can have your own message printed inside and delivered to your home, and all with a 30 day, money back guarantee.
Thanks

I like this image in both of its versions: colored and black and white pencil. The textures are so lush, and the variations on the focus are nice. A peaceful place.

I keep going back to these wonderful colored pencil drawings and this is just beautiful with its detail. It makes one wonder what is beyond the next bend in the river.
